Connor Kenway - Tomahawkby ~Trujin

Too bad I couldn't finish this before dawn, so insufficient light had a negative effect on the picture quality. However, this is the finished tomahawk for the Connor costume.

I must say I'm pretty pleased with it, it could use some paint here and there and some sanding, but I guess I do like the rough weathered look, but still looking pretty much like the in game thing.

Little side note: I did sand a piece of wood to have a curve, but at the handle it wasn't thick enough for my taste so I've put some layers of leather at the top of the handle to add thickness. You can't see this because of the leather handle straps that went over it.

For anybody interested:

Blade: mdf
Blade connection to the handle: polymere clay
Handle: sanded into shape construction wood
Strings and handle: leather from old couches
Feathers: pigeonfeathers (my dad has pigeons in the backyard
Beads: wooden ones
Rivets: 7 nails specially made for furniture
